It is my pleasure to assist clients in connecting with their innate capacity to heal, support them to learn to trust themselves, and develop an ability to internally evaluate their inner self. I have extensive experience assisting a diverse range of clients achieve their goals, develop new skills, and regain emotional balance and a sense of well-being. Clients can expect to feel deeply understood and validated while being gently invited to identify distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviour patterns that may interfere with their ability to live their best life. My goal is for every client to walk away feeling more hopeful and able to cope through psychoeducation, mindfulness, skill development, processing of emotional experiences, and deep healing.
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health and wellness field and I continue to feel excited about supporting clients to achieve their mental health goals. The theoretical framework from which I work is client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioural, mindfulness-based, and emotion-focused. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. I have also completed advanced trainings to achieve the designations of ADHD - Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD - CCSP) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) to better support individuals facing challenges in these areas.
